Recent Engagements:

Structuring & Building New Family Offices

  • Following a major liquidity event, designed the structure for a new family entity to manage the principal’s investment, philanthropic, and personal activities. Built a staffing model, established operational systems, and developed protocols for working with external advisors.

  • Helped a $5B+ founder build their personal office from scratch. Oversaw the hiring of tax, legal, investment, and accounting advisors, as well as their first personal employee. Managed PEO setup to ensure proper employment, benefits, and compliance infrastructure.

Supporting Next-Generation Family Members

  • For the next gen of a $5B+ family, built a full support system in a new city: sourced and oversaw home acquisition and renovation, hired a business manager, assembled a domestic team (PA, nannies, housekeepers), and ensured insurance and immigration compliance. Continue to serve as their primary advisor.

  • For another next-gen client, act as day-to-day advisor and coach — liaising with the family office, managing budgeting and household staff, and building a structure to support future independence and investment decisions.

Managing Risk & Sensitive Transitions

  • Developed a comprehensive emergency and end-of-life playbook for a $100B+ family office. Defined roles across trustees, staff, and family members to ensure clarity through major life events. Worked with legal, investment, and banking teams to align with estate plans and mitigate reputational risk.

  • Stepped in during internal conflict to mediate household staffing issues, minimizing turnover and HR/security exposure for a prominent family.

Project Oversight & Owner’s Representation

  • Served as owner’s representative on multiple large real estate purchases, protecting client privacy and freeing internal family office staff to focus on core functions.

  • Advised a family office portfolio company during COVID-19, leading talent and organizational redesign to ensure business continuity and long-term team alignment.
